Tis’ the Season

The Holidays are here, and SUPPORT FOR THE KIDS is very busy getting ready for our 14th Annual Holiday Party for foster, kinship and underprivileged KIDS. Last year we served a grand total of 10,000 KIDS. This year, we want to reach 11,000 and with your help, we hope to reach that goal. Here’s how you can help:

• Toys, toys… we need lots of toys… for ages birth to 18 years
• Donations of money to help pay for the pizza party
• Gift certificates in any amount to any chain store
• NEW stuffed animals
• “Adopt” a needy family

We have several ways to make giving easier for you:

• You can drop off toys at various local businesses, click here for a list.
• You can shop online - go to www.amazon.com, click on “wish list” then type in Support for the Kids under “search wish list”. Just shop, click and order. Contact laura@supprtforthekids.org for shipping address.
• Donate merchandise to sell on Ebay (see below)

Create some space and help a child!
 
We have the ability to accept donations of items from our supporters and sell them on eBay.
 
We handle the ENTIRE process from photographing the item, creating an effective description, posting it on eBay, monitoring the auction, processing the sale, and shipping your item – not to mention issuing you a TAX DEDUCTIBLE RECEIPT FOR THE SALES PRICE after completion.
    
All of the proceeds from your eBay auction will go to SUPPORT FOR THE KIDS. NO messy garage sales – NO disturbing phone calls from classified ads – we will do all the work!
 
What items are best for eBay/SUPPORT FOR THE KIDS….?
 
Antiques – Autographed Items – Collectible Coins – Commercial Equipment – Designer Jewelry – Fine China – Flatware – Glassware – Sports Memorabilia – Vintage Jewelry – Collectibles & or Collections.
 
Furniture donations are generally NOT suitable for an eBay donation.
